Why this happens
These substances work through different pathways in the body and do not interfere with how each other is absorbed, broken down, or used by the body. Rosehip is a natural source of vitamin C, so taking it with a vitamin C supplement simply increases your total intake of that vitamin.
What you should do
Back to contentsYou can safely take these together. However, be mindful of your total vitamin C intake; very high doses (usually over 2,000mg daily) can sometimes cause stomach upset or diarrhoea. If you have a history of kidney stones or are taking blood-thinning medication like warfarin, speak to your pharmacist before starting devil's claw.
